Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

Since May 2020, INEX Group has been spearheading the complex engineering and design project for Sistema-BioTech (part of the Sistema PJSFC portfolio). Located on the 5th floor of Building 11 within the Mosmedpark Technopark, this facility is being transformed into a premier R&D laboratory dedicated to innovative biotechnological research.

Engineering Infrastructure & HVAC: By early October 2020, the project reached a major milestone with the completion of the ventilation system installation. The scope of work included:

• Air Handling Units (AHUs): Assembly of high-performance supply and exhaust units designed for biological laboratory safety.

• Ductwork & Air Distribution: Routing of specialized air ducts and the installation of high-efficiency air distribution blocks to maintain required pressure differentials.

Cleanroom Construction and Laboratory Layout: Following the infrastructure phase, the team transitioned to the assembly of Cleanroom Components (KChP).

• Site Progress: Several demonstration units have already been fully assembled to validate the structural integrity and aesthetic alignment of the cleanroom panels.

• Design Coordination: In early October, a strategic meeting was held with the Client to finalize the Office Zone Design Project and the ergonomic placement of specialized medical furniture and laboratory equipment.

Project Status: Work is continuing at a high pace. The current focus is the final installation of the cleanroom envelopes and the integration of the laboratory's specialized utilities (electricity, water, and automation) with the newly installed HVAC system.
