Laminar zones

INEX laminar flow zones are designed to create localized areas with enhanced air purity requirements—ISO Class 6 and higher. These structures are a vital component of cleanroom infrastructure, widely used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnological laboratories, medical institutions, and the electronics and food industries.

The primary function of a laminar zone is to create a controlled environment with a unidirectional (laminar) airflow. This downward pressure prevents contaminants from entering the workspace from the outside and ensures stable, sterile conditions for sensitive technological processes.

Regulatory Compliance

INEX strictly adheres to national and international standards during the design and manufacturing of laminar zones:

  • ISO 14644-1 & 14644-4: Standards for air cleanliness classification and cleanroom design/construction.

  • GOST R 52249-2009 (GMP Rules): Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice requirements for ventilation, filtration, and airflow in pharmaceutical production.

  • SP 158.13330.2014 & SanPiN 2.1.3678-20: Safety and sanitary requirements for medical organization premises and healthcare equipment.

  • GOST R 52539-2006: General requirements for air purity in healthcare institutions.

Design and Features

INEX laminar flow zones are built on a modular platform, allowing for rapid deployment and customization:

  • Fan Filter Units (FFU): The heart of the system, providing high-purity air through HEPA H14 filtration.

  • Structural Frame: Manufactured from proprietary INEX structural aluminum profiles, ensuring rigidity and corrosion resistance.

  • Enclosure Elements: Depending on the application, zones can be enclosed using aluminum composite panels, tempered safety glass, or flexible PVC slats (curtains).

  • Control Systems: FFU management via analog or digital interfaces (Modbus / 0-10V) for precise velocity control.

  • Additional Options: Integration of LED lighting, germicidal UV lamps, and automated drive systems.

Key Advantages

  • Custom Engineering: Each zone is designed specifically for the client's unique technological tasks.

  • Flexibility: Available in stationary (ceiling-mounted) or mobile (wheeled) configurations to adapt to changing workflows.

  • Localized Efficiency: High cleanliness classes can be achieved in specific areas without the cost of upgrading the entire room.

  • Seamless Integration: Easily integrates into existing production lines or cleanroom layouts.

  • Energy Reliability: High-efficiency components ensure long-term operational stability and reduced power consumption.
