Projects for Construction of GLP Facilities
INEX designs and delivers laboratory facilities that meet GLP requirements and standards.
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is an internationally recognized framework specifying requirements for obtaining reliable results from laboratory testing and for the labs themselves. Compliance with these standards ensures result accuracy and comparability with global benchmarks. This methodology is widely accepted worldwide. The GLP system has been in use for over two decades and since March 1, 2010, became an official Russian national standard (GOST 33044-2014).
Typically, GLP-certified laboratories study the effects of new chemical substances on humans and the environment. Implementing GLP principles is challenging due to stringent requirements concerning human health, animal welfare, and ecological safety.
GLP laboratories belong to what could be called the “top tier.” There are currently few such facilities in Russia, yet interest in them remains strong. Obtaining GLP accreditation gives organizations access to international recognition and opportunities to secure contracts from overseas firms. Establishment of GLP-certified labs in Russia would facilitate exports by removing the need for exporters to conduct duplicate studies abroad.
Requirements for GLP facilities are far more demanding than those for conventional test labs, necessitating validation of both structure and equipment. Not only must the complex be built and equipped properly, but it must also demonstrate capability to deliver accurate test outcomes, with calibrated instruments, measurement systems, and software adhering to exacting specifications.
INEX strives to maximize compliance with Good Laboratory Practice standards and requirements for all delivered facilities.
