Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

14.01.2022

Customer: Pharmaceutical enterprise "Veropharm"

In late December, a technical working group from INEX Group visited the Veropharm (Abbott) production site in the Vladimir Region to launch a new infrastructure project. The objective is the development of a "Detailed Design" (Working Documentation) for the cleanroom complex and HVAC systems serving the non-sterile nasal spray filling department.

During the initial site mission, INEX specialists conducted an extensive walkthrough of the production areas designated for reconstruction. Understanding the existing facility's logistical and structural constraints is essential for integrating modern cleanroom technology into the established plant environment.

Project Scope & Technical Objectives: The redevelopment of the nasal spray unit involves high-precision engineering of environmental controls, specifically:

  • HVAC Systems: Designing air handling units capable of maintaining the specific air exchange rates and pressure cascades required for nasal drug manufacturing.

  • Cleanroom Architecture: Organizing the layout of the cleanroom complex (KChP) to optimize personnel and material flow.

  • Engineering Surveys: The INEX team is currently preparing for a comprehensive site audit and structural engineering surveys to validate the reconstruction plan.

Technological Focus: Even for non-sterile products, nasal spray production requires rigorous control over airborne contaminants and humidity. The project focuses on creating a robust barrier against cross-contamination while ensuring that the new systems are fully compatible with existing plant utilities.
