Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

Customer: The Federal State Budgetary Institution "Zabaikalsky Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor"

The INEX engineering team has successfully completed a technical mission to Chita to launch a major infrastructure project for the Zabaikalsky Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor. The primary objective is the installation of a high-capacity wastewater decontamination system designed to handle biological agents of Pathogenicity Groups III-IV.

During the site visit, INEX specialists conducted a comprehensive survey and gathered essential data for the integration of the UTOS-6000—a proprietary thermal decontamination unit developed and manufactured entirely within the INEX production ecosystem.

The Zabaikalsky Reference Center is a pillar of regional biosecurity, providing expert oversight for phytosanitary and veterinary safety. Accredited under ISO/IEC 17025, the center’s laboratory research is recognized globally through the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

The implementation of the UTOS-6000 ensures that the facility maintains its rigorous biosafety licensing requirements while managing a diverse range of research areas, including:

  • Veterinary Diagnostics: Handling sensitive biological materials.

  • Plant Quarantine & Soil Science: Researching pathogens in agricultural samples.

  • Safety of Animal & Plant Products: Certifying exports and local consumables.

Innovative & Import-Independent Technology:

The UTOS-6000 (and its compact variant UTOS-600) was selected for its alignment with the modern requirements of the Russian pharmaceutical and research sectors. Key advantages include:

  • 100% Deactivation: Guaranteed thermal neutralization of all pathogenic microflora.

  • Energy Recovery: High-efficiency heat exchangers reduce electricity consumption.

  • On-Site Sterilization: The ability to treat effluents directly at the source with adjustable temperature ($142 \pm 2^{\circ}\text{C}$) and exposure times (90 min).

  • Import Substitution: The system is built entirely from Russian-made components and assemblies, ensuring long-term maintenance stability and compliance with national programs.
