The Role of Grade B Zones in Pharma: A Grade B zone serves as the critical background environment for Grade A zones (where total sterility is required). It is essential for aseptic processing, including:

Aseptic Preparation: Creating an ultra-clean environment for the preparation of solutions before final filtration.

Transition Buffering: Protecting the integrity of Grade A filling lines by providing a highly controlled surrounding atmosphere.
Technical Performance & Classification: The INEX laminar zone is engineered to meet rigorous international and federal cleanliness standards:

"At-Rest" State: Meets the ISO Class 5 index, ensuring high-purity air before operations begin.

"In-Operation" State: Maintains an ISO Class 7 index, effectively managing the particulate load generated by personnel and equipment during production.
Implementation at MedScience: The first industrial implementation of this innovative laminar zone is currently underway at the MedScience pharmaceutical plant. By integrating this localized solution, MedScience will achieve enhanced control over its aseptic production chains while optimizing energy consumption compared to full-room high-classification systems.
