Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

To provide a complete vertical integration for cleanroom construction, the INEX Design Bureau has engineered a new model of an Active Air Pass-Through Hatch. These airlocks are critical for maintaining differential pressure and sterility standards when transferring components between zones of different cleanliness classes or varying biological hazard levels.

Technical Configuration & Components: The INEX innovative airlock integrates precision-engineered mechanical and electronic systems:

  • Filtration: Two-stage system featuring a G4 pre-filter and a high-efficiency H14 HEPA filter.

  • Safety & Access: Electro-mechanical interlocking (EMI) system with one-way access logic and an emergency override button.

  • Timing Logic: Programmable door-lock timers to ensure full decontamination cycles.

  • Aerodynamics: Integrated diffusers for optimized airflow distribution.

  • Aesthetics: High-durability finish in RAL 9003 (Signal White).

Operating Principle & Contamination Control: The design prevents the simultaneous opening of both doors, maintaining a physical barrier between environments. To meet ISO 14644-1-2017 standards, the hatch employs an active scavenging (purge) cycle. When materials are placed inside, the internal chamber is flooded with HEPA-filtered air to remove surface particulates before the opposite door is released.
