Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

13.09.2022

Customer: Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH"

A project group of INEX specialists has completed a technical site visit to the branch of the Federal Centre for Animal Health (FGBU "ARRIAH" / VNIIZZH) in Simferopol, Republic of Crimea. The primary focus of the mission was to perform Field Supervision (Author's Supervision) over the implementation of critical architectural and installation adjustments.

The project involves the construction of specialized facilities designed for high-stakes veterinary research, including:

  • Research Laboratory: Engineered for safe handling of Pathogenic Biological Agents (PBA) of Groups III-IV.

  • Diagnostic Center: A state-of-the-art facility for investigating current animal and fish infections, featuring dedicated zones for in-vivo laboratory studies.

During the visit, INEX experts conducted a series of technical consultations with the facility’s engineering staff. These sessions covered the full spectrum of operational readiness, focusing on the final integration of systems and the rigorous documentation required for the commissioning of the facility. This collaborative oversight ensures that the complex laboratory infrastructure meets both the initial design intent and the strict biosafety standards required for federal diagnostic centers.
