Following the strategic roadmap for import substitution and the advancement of the domestic manufacturing sector, the INEX Design Bureau continues to expand its proprietary line of cleanroom infrastructure. Our engineering team has successfully finalized the development of an autonomous Fan Filter Unit (FFU)—one of the most critical components for high-precision air purification.
The FFU is specifically engineered to create localized clean zones (Laminar Airflow Workstations) within environments ranging from ISO Class 4 to ISO Class 8.
Technical Principles and Operation: The unit operates on an air recirculation principle: it intakes air from the room, processes it through an internal filtration sequence, and delivers a unidirectional (laminar) flow into the workspace.
-
Autonomous Engineering: The unit is self-powered and does not require connection to an external HVAC system. An integrated electric motor and laminator ensure uniform air distribution across the entire filter surface.
-
Multi-Stage Filtration: Air purity is maintained via a tiered system:
-
Pre-filtration: Grades F and G for coarse particles.
-
Final Filtration: HEPA H14 class filter for high-efficiency particulate capture.
-
Versatile Installation: The structural design allows for mounting in any ceiling plane, with customizable air intake panel geometries to fit specific cleanroom architectures.
Advanced Control and Integration: Designed for the modern "Smart Factory," the INEX FFU features:
-
Automation & Monitoring: Full compatibility with central dispatch and automation points.
-
Smart Sensors: Real-time filter clogging sensors and equipment status indicators.
-
Efficiency: Variable motor speed control and low power consumption.
-
Low Noise & Vibration: Optimized acoustics for comfortable long-term operation.
-
Integrity Testing: Built-in ports for aerosol leak testing (DOP/PAO tests) and filter integrity verification.
Regulatory Compliance (RF)
The INEX FFU has been developed to meet and exceed the following industrial standards:
-
GOST R ISO 14644 (ISO 14644-1): Classification of air cleanliness and monitoring.
-
EAEU GMP Standards: Meeting the requirements for Grade A/B localized zones in pharmaceutical production.
-
GOST R EN 1822-1: High-efficiency air filters (EPA, HEPA, ULPA) — specifically for the H14 classification.
