INEX Group is an active contributor to one of Russia’s most ambitious healthcare infrastructure projects: the construction of the SOGAZ Multidisciplinary Medical Complex (MMC) in St. Petersburg. This 140,000 m² facility features a full-cycle oncology center, a rehabilitation hub, and a cutting-edge Nuclear Medicine Research Center developed in partnership with the Kurchatov Institute for the synthesis of isotope-based radiopharmaceuticals.
Commissioned by the General Contractor, ENKA (ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş.), INEX was tasked with engineering the decontamination sector for effluents categorized under Pathogenicity Groups III-IV.
To meet the project's rigorous safety requirements, INEX developed the proprietary UTOS-1-500 Effluent Decontamination System. This unit is specifically engineered for the continuous thermal treatment of infected liquid waste.
Technical Specifications of the UTOS-1-500:

Operational Method: Continuous high-temperature thermal sterilization.

Cycle Management: Integrated systems for the accumulation, storage, neutralization, and controlled discharge of decontaminated fluids.

Throughput: Minimum capacity of 2.5 m³ per day.

Safety Integration: Fully enclosed loop to prevent aerosolization or leakage of pathogenic agents prior to treatment.
The implementation of the UTOS-1-500 provides a turnkey solution for the biological safety of the SOGAZ medical cluster, allowing for the safe discharge of treated water into municipal sewage networks.
