The INEX Design Bureau has successfully developed a specialized air shower for JSC UEC-STAR (Perm), the only enterprise in Russia specializing in the serial production of fuel feed and control systems for gas turbine engines. Following the design phase, INEX specialists completed the delivery and installation of the unit at the UEC-STAR facility. All structural components of the object have successfully passed validation.
The primary purpose of the air shower is to remove dust, particulate matter, and microorganisms from personnel, tools, and materials before they enter controlled environments. Strategically placed between zones with different cleanliness levels, the air shower functions as a high-velocity air barrier. It utilizes directed airflow to scrub surfaces, effectively blocking the risk of cross-contamination into the cleanroom.

Beyond contamination control, the air shower helps maintain the required microclimate within cleanrooms. This installation optimizes maintenance costs, reduces energy consumption, and significantly extends the operational lifespan of the cleanroom infrastructure.

Regulatory Compliance (RF)
The air shower design and its integration into the facility infrastructure comply with the following standards:
-
ISO 14644 (GOST R ISO 14644): International standards for cleanrooms and associated controlled environments, focusing on contamination control.
-
National Industrial Safety Standards: Ensuring reliable operation within high-precision aerospace and engine manufacturing facilities.
-
Energy Efficiency Protocols: Aligned with modern requirements for industrial climate control systems.
