Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

26.10.2023

Customer: LLC "Trading House - VIK"

On October 26, 2023, following the formal signing of the contract, INEX began engineering services for the development of Detailed Documentation for a new laboratory facility. The project is located at the Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K.I. Skryabin (23 Akademika Skryabina St., Bldg. 10).

The laboratory, with a total design area of approximately 250 sq.m., is being developed for VIC Trade House (part of the VIC Group, a leader in the CIS veterinary pharmaceutical market). A critical phase of this project involves the subsequent approval of the engineering documentation by the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) and the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow.

Progress Update: As of November 7, 2023, the INEX design division has finalized and submitted three distinct Conceptual Layout Options for the customer's review. These concepts prioritize:

  • Functional Zoning: Efficient separation of diagnostic, research, and auxiliary areas.

  • Flow Management: Compliance with sanitary requirements for the movement of personnel and biological materials.

  • Infrastructure Integration: Optimization of specialized ventilation and utility systems within the existing building structure.

The project aims to create a modern research environment that meets both the academic standards of the Skryabin Academy and the industrial quality requirements of VIC Group, ensuring full compliance with Russian biosafety regulations.

Regulatory Compliance (RF) The design process strictly adheres to the following standards:

  • SanPiN 3.3686-21: Regarding the prevention of infectious diseases and the organization of laboratory work with biological agents.

  • SanPiN 2.1.3684-21: Concerning the sanitary requirements for the operation of buildings and engineering systems.

  • SP 158.13330.2014: Design standards for medical and laboratory organizations.
