Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

The INEX production facility in Volgograd has completed the manufacturing of local liquid waste disinfection and decontamination units: UTOS-1-L-400-E and UTOS-1-L-250-E. These systems are specifically designed for operation at facilities handling Pathogenic Biological Agents (PBA) of Hazard Groups III–IV (according to Russian classification).
The project was executed under a standing supply contract and in strict adherence to the approved Technical Specifications. Engineering and design solutions were developed in alignment with the User Requirements Specification (URS) and verified during the Design Qualification (DQ) stage. The production cycle included the fabrication of technological modules, integration of thermal treatment equipment, assembly, and preliminary functional testing of engineering nodes.
The project was completed on schedule, demonstrating robust production management and adherence to the approved timeline. The units are designed as local modular solutions with a high degree of factory readiness, optimized for rapid installation and utility connection at the Customer's site.
The containerized modular design ensures standardization of technological solutions, minimizes on-site construction requirements, and significantly reduces commissioning lead times. During the production phase, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) was conducted to verify assembly integrity, key component functionality, and transport readiness.
Currently, INEX is preparing the equipment for shipment, which includes compiling operational, technical, and validation documentation, as well as packaging and logistics planning. Following delivery, the scope of work includes on-site installation, utility integration, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and subsequent qualification stages (IQ / OQ / PQ) within the facility’s technological infrastructure.
