Construction of a Prefabricated Modular Building for a Thermal Disinfection and Decontamination Station for Pathogenicity Groups III–IV Effluents

INEX Group has launched a comprehensive renovation and technical fit-out project for Sistema-BioTech (a subsidiary of Sistema PJSFC). The project is situated on the 5th floor of Building 11 within the Mosmedpark Technopark in Moscow. This facility is destined to become a flagship innovative R&D biotechnology laboratory, focusing on advanced medical research and genetic engineering.

The partnership officially began in April 2020, with INEX taking charge of the full design-and-build cycle. Following a strategic consultation with investors and future laboratory staff, the project team finalized the technological layouts and spatial planning necessary to support sophisticated biotechnological workflows.

Progress and Current Milestones: The initial phase focused on preparing the existing infrastructure for its transition into a high-purity environment. Key activities completed by late May 2020 include:

• Site Preparation: Full demolition of old structures and removal of non-compliant materials.

• Structural Reinforcement: Strengthening the building’s construct to support heavy laboratory equipment and specialized ventilation units.

• Surface Dedusting: Applying specialized coatings to ensure the construction site meets the baseline requirements for future cleanroom assembly.

Engineering and Technological Integration: The laboratory will be equipped with specialized HVAC systems to maintain precise temperature, humidity, and pressure differentials. The design incorporates dedicated zones for molecular biology, cell culture, and genetic analysis, ensuring that all workflows are optimized for both safety and efficiency.
