At the enterprise NPO Biomed, the Perm branch of NPO Microgen, the full-scale reconstruction of the vaccine preparations department launched last year with a total area of ​​800 sq.m was completed. The modernized unit will produce substances for pertussis vaccine and tetanus toxoid.

Based on the results of the work, the production facilities were completely updated, new equipment was qualified and put into operation. In addition, a project for the installation of ventilation systems with three stages of purification and water treatment with a module for producing water for injection by ultrafiltration was implemented at the site.

The launch of the vaccine preparations department at the Perm site is taking place according to the plan for the phased modernization of enterprises that are part of the Microgen NPO.

NPO "Biomed" is one of the largest enterprises of "Microgen", whose assortment portfolio includes more than 50 types of drugs. The Perm branch is the only manufacturer of rickettsial vaccines and anti-gangrenous serum.
