14.09.2023

Customer: Federal State Unitary Enterprise SPbNIIVS FMBA of Russia, St. Petersburg

The engineering group of the INEX design department has successfully completed the first stage of coordinating detailed documentation with SPbNIIVS FMBA Russia (Saint Petersburg Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums). The project focuses on the technical re-equipment of the institute's research and quality control laboratories.

These critical facilities are located within Laboratory Building Lit. A at the institute’s site in Krasnoye Selo, Saint Petersburg (52 Svobody St.).

Collaboration and Progress: Following a review of the initial documentation, INEX has integrated the customer’s feedback and specific requirements into the project workflow. The high level of expertise within the INEX engineering team has allowed for the rapid adjustment of the detailed documentation. This progress facilitates a smooth transition to the next phase of cooperation—active design and engineering works for the laboratory complex.

The modernization of these laboratories is vital for maintaining the institute's capacity to develop and monitor the quality of vaccines and serums in a high-tech, compliant environment.

Regulatory Compliance (RF)

The technical upgrade project for SPbNIIVS is carried out in strict adherence to the following regulatory standards:

  • EAEU GLP (Good Laboratory Practice): Ensuring the quality and integrity of research data and laboratory operations.

  • SanPiN 3.3686-21: Regarding the prevention of infectious diseases and biological safety protocols.

  • SanPiN 2.1.3684-21: Governing the sanitary requirements for the operation of laboratory buildings and engineering systems.

  • ISO 14644 (GOST R ISO 14644): For the design and maintenance of cleanroom environments and controlled research areas.
